Funding Applications
SGA ADMINISTERED FUNDS
These funding sources are administered by the Student Government Association. While individuals may apply for funding without co-sponsorship from SGA-recognized clubs and organizations, academic departments, or other entities, this is strongly discouraged. Please note: Except in extenuating circumstances, funding applications will not be accepted for events that have already occurred. Also, please allow up to two weeks for response. For more information, contact SGA Treasurer Sasha Kim at SGATreasurer@wheatonma.edu
The Early Event Fund makes funding accessible before the Senate, Venture, and Speaker Funds convene. Its application deadline was August 3.
The Speaker Fund may be used “for the purpose of bringing a speaker to campus and the costs normally associated with such an event,” as stated in the by-laws of the Student Government Association of Wheaton College. It is adjudicated by the SGA Executive Board. Please read each section carefully and provide all information to the best of your ability. Submitting an application does not guarantee funding. The application process is competitive and you will receive written notification pending the committee’s decision.
Please submit all applications to SGA Treasurer Alexander (Sasha) Kim @ SGAtreasurer@wheatonma.edu and title your email: “speaker fund application for {name of the event}”.
All applications must be submitted at least 14 days in advance of the event.
