Audits

According to the Constitution and By-laws of the Wheaton College Student Government Association, all clubs and organizations are audited at least once every two years and are subject to “spot audits” in which the Finance Committee of the Senate may demand a full audit report within as little as 24 hours upon notification.

An Audit Report includes the following:

    1. Budget Ledger
    2. Club Registration Form
    3. Programming Evaluation Form
    4. Club Inventory Report Form
    5. All Receipts, Bills, Deposit Slips, etc.

Audit Reports are submitted to and graded by the Senate Finance Committee. The audits are examined for their completeness, propriety, level of detail, and organization.

Audits are used in the budget allocations process and are kept on permanent record by the SGA. They may also be used in other SGA business.

SGA Senate Finance Committee will be conducting Fall 2009 audits in November. Following clubs have to submit audit reports by 16th of November via email to SGA Treasurer Sasha Kim at sgatreasurer@wheatonma.edu:
