Good evening KLMC residents,

Here’s a taste of what went on in senate tonight:

The senate voted to approve a Resolution of Support for the GLBT Community as  result of the Pride Flag incident.

SGA also discussed some upcoming events and worked in our quad groups.

It was also announced that senators will be posting an SGA “Bitch Box” (also known as a large, manilla envelope) in your dorm. Stay tuned to find out where your senator will be posting yours.

Upcoming Events

• If you’re in a forced triple, please contact your Senator (Amie, Emily, Nadia or Tyler). The Student Housing Action Committee is looking for students currently residing in Forced Triples.
• SHAC will be hosting their Sex Toy Party tomorrow night at 8:30 in Hindle.
• This Thursday at 5:30pm, SGA will be hosting a mandatory Treasurers social in the old game room. If your club has a Treasurer, please send them!
• On Thursday night, 10-12, there will be a Haunted House at the Den. $200 open tab!
• Also on Thursday night, Karaoke at the Loft!
• On Friday at 4pm in the Dance studio the dance groups will be teaching the Thriller Dance for an 8pm performance in the Dimple.
• On Friday night there will be a costume contest at the Den. Free cookies for the winners.
• Big Dance on Saturday night! 10-2 photobooth, free food, costume contest from 12-12:30.

We are proud to announce that Wheaton has two new official clubs. The Anime Club was placed in the Intercultural Board tier and the Objectivist Club was placed in the Educational tier. Look for their posters and events around campus and help support them! 30 minutes were devoted to working on our Annual Priorities and finally reviewed Senate as a whole.

There are a ton of events that are coming up such as:

• Tomorrow night at 8pm there is an Info session about becoming an Eco Rep in the SGA office
• Thursday ICB is is holding there Stereotyped event in the Chapel Basement at 6:30
• PC has planned a ton of events for Halloween weekend including the KGBW dance on Saturday
• Greener Wheaton Competition part two will start November 1st
• SGA week will be the week of November 1st
• If you are the head of a club keep your eye on the SGA website for Audit reports. They are due back to Sasha Kim by November 16th.
