Hello my pretties

Hello my little monsters (GaGa reference)!
Sorry to have been incommunicado for a while life is getting really busy.
so just a few things:

check out the Wheaton SGA website for any of your SGA needs…things like fund applications, questions for senators and all the other fun stuff you love SGA for.

there is also a plan in the work to get Professors meals at Chase and Emerson so as to encourage teacher student interaction.

we recently (earlier this semester)invited representatives from Public Safety, the Dean of students and some students (aggravated ones) to come talk about the off campus living situation as pertains to the alcohol policy. There was a lot of “debate” and it was heated (most of the heat directed toward P.S. The point I’m trying to make is that we as students should reaccess the way we treat our P.S. officers. they are people too. I suggest we all try and get to know our P.S Officers. Stop one of them and say hi sometime. I did this recently and they are actually quite nice.

I’m bringing this up simply because I feel P.S is the object of too much hatred…we can all hate them a little bit less. Have a lovely week my little monsters!

Best,
Kachi.

Good evening to you all

Firstly, all students interested in Senate need to send in their applications by Sunday, in addition to attending an SGA meeting on Tuesday

Senate Finance Committee has successfully audited clubs finances in a meeting that last 6 hours.

The Programming Council is organizing the Snow Ball Dance, which is the last of the year. BE THERE! Natalie always does a good job

Please remember to buy a snowflake this Thursday in the Balfour

On Spring Break next semester, there’s a “poppish” alternative band, My Dear disco that has been gotten as the small band to perform

There will still be 2 student bands to perform for Spring Weekend, and the big band has not been decided yet.

Contrary to the Wire Article, Senator Zachary and Student Life believe Shuttles to airport will still be happening in Wheaton.

SGA President Gabe Amo, and myself along with other Senators will meet up soon to really take a closer look into the off-campus party incidents, and see if anything could be improved.

Lastly, as off campus students, we have no suggestion boxes

SO PLEASE IF THERE’S ANY ISSUE AT ALL THAT YOU FEEL NEEDS MORE ATTENTION IN WHEATON, SEND ME A DIRECT EMAIL, and we will do something about it together.

Your Senator, Bello

Special Day Today

By Bello El-Rufai

Today December 1st is World Aids Day

The killer disease remains a major global issue, and the least we can do is acknowledge and recognize today as a very powerful day.

A fact, 4,000 people in Africa die everyday from AIDS ..
